    To Bruce Beernink:

Jim Leep at the Farm recommended I speak with you about Avocados. He says you are the expert! I am looking for an avocado that will do well in my westside garden near Escalona. I know a Zutano would work, but I don’t think it’s the best fruit. What else would you recommend that will bear well? I would like a Fuerte, but read in the CRFG Avocado write-up that they don’t do well near the coast….Is that true for our area? I think that a Guatemalan variety will taste better than a Mexican such as the Bacon or Zutano.

What do you recommend? I appreciate your response. Susan

    Hello

I am highly interested in the course, however I am a poor UCSC student who is graduating in March. Is it possible to do a work trade or be a volunteer from Feb- Mar.
    Thank you
    Neenel
